WooCommerce Store and Dealer Locator

Protech Sleeves makes premium matte card sleeves for trading card players. The pitch is in the tagline: built for the shuffle. I built the brand’s online store on WordPress and WooCommerce.

What the site has to do

Protech sells two ways. Players buy direct from the shop, and local game stores stock the sleeves, so the site has to serve both. It also needs a way to bring in new retailers and brand ambassadors without an email thread.

What I built

• Shop. Single packs and color bundles, with free shipping over $30 called out in the header on every page.
• Store locator. A ZIP or postcode search that finds an authorized dealer nearby. It backs up the brand’s line that a local game store is the heart of the community.
• Wholesale application and ambassador registration. Two forms that let retailers and players apply directly.
• Accounts, cart and policies. Standard WooCommerce accounts and checkout, with shipping, returns and terms pages.

Design approach

The site carries the packaging’s ocean look. The home page puts the product boxes in front of deep blue coral silhouettes, and inner pages use a pale blue banner with the same shapes. A rounded white header with a bold condensed logo keeps the navigation light against all that color.

Outcome

The store is live at protechsleeves.com, selling direct and pointing players to their nearest dealer.
