La Grande Taproom and Pizzeria Website
A Live Tap List, a Full Menu, and Online Pickup Ordering

Tap That Growlers is a craft beer taproom and wood-fired pizzeria at 1106 Adams Ave in downtown La Grande, Oregon. It has 40 rotating taps of beer, cider, kombucha and root beer, plus a family dining room and a 21+ lounge. I designed and built its website.
What the site has to do
A regular asks three things before heading out: what’s on tap, what can I eat, and can I order ahead. The navigation is built around those questions, with the phone number and the address one tap away on every page.
What I built
- What’s on tap. The list is grouped by style. Each beer shows its brewery, town, ABV, IBU, a short description and every pour size with its price, from a pint to a 64 oz growler. A style filter narrows the list, a timestamp shows when it was last updated, and a PDF version is there for printing.
- Menu. Brew bites, wings, sandwiches, pasta and wood-fired pizza, filterable by category, with a downloadable PDF and “local favorite” tags.
- Online ordering. Pickup orders go through Toast, linked from the header, the hero and the info bar.
- Location and FAQ. Directions, hours and the questions the staff answer most, on their own pages.
Design approach
A charcoal header and a teal accent, set against a warm paper background. Headlines are in Fraunces, a soft serif with some pub-sign character, and body text is in Inter. The hero is a close photo of the taps, because the taps are the reason people come.
Outcome
The site is live at tapthatgrowlers.net. It’s one of the first sites I launched under Free Website Idaho.
Live sites may have been modified by the client after delivery. Screens here show the original work.
